what kind of football was this?

as a kid i remember 3 kinds of footballs we played with. of course the "real" leather kind, the Nerf and there was one other. I can't remember what it was called though. it was kind of soft and used air (couldn't put more in if memory is correct) but was a rubber type, almost like a kickball kind of material. anyone else know what I'm talking about and know the name it went by???????

Felt more like a basketball than a football? After playing with it for a few hours would lose about 1/4 of the air and you could throw it like a wet wash cloth? Don't know what name you're looking for but below is a picture I found of one and they also came in about 10000000000 colors.

voit cf5 pee wee league sized rubber football

kind of but not really. this was much more squeezable, not as hard as a basketball, more like a dodge ball or a kickball type feel to it.

the last one may be it, i saw where you said it was rubber llike a playground ball, if thats the one you are talking about then it was kind of squishy and you could throw those *******s a country mile and catch em with one hand. i have one lying around somewhere.

Right. Just the texture was similar to a basketball. You could easily palm one with one hand and squeeze the ball half way in on itself. I remember the one's you're talking about, just not sure about a brand name.

yeah, it is killing me I cant remember what they were called. kind of like when you get a song stuck in your head and you only know about 5 or 6 words and you sing them over and over and over and then you stop. then you catch your self singing them again, then again and again.
